Unless you’ve been living under a rock or simply don’t care, in which case you’re not reading this anyway (so I don’t have to worry about insulting you), you probably already know that Nintendo will be hosting midnight launch parties for the latest iteration of its dual-screened handheld system, now in 3D, the Nintendo 3DS, tomorrow night. Here in Canada, Nintendo of Canada and Future Shop will be running two official midnight launch parties. Meanwhile, in the States, there will be midnight launch events at participating Best Buy stores in New York City and Westbury, NY, Pennsylvania, Illinois, West Hollywood and San Fransisco, California, Miami and more. While I won’t be at the Toronto event this time, Nathan will be attending, so if you happen to spot him, be sure to say hi. And if you’re really into free stuff, be sure to show up as early as possible. Though the American events only start at 10 p.m., the Canadian events start at 6 p.m., and here in Toronto, Virgin Radio will be giving away a 3DS each hour until launch.
